MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to assist women in need by providing temporary housing along with basic support services in a safe environment within a Christian Community.
Our organization makes available a home to help older women in the homeless community find themselves again and become viable employees and able members of the Kansas City community.
Lisa’s House is here to offer resources that prevent and end homelessness, to serve everyone with respect, integrity, and grace, to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us by our supporters, and to reflect the teachings of Jesus and the love of God in all we do.
VISION
Our vision for Lisa’s House is to assist each client in the 23rd Street planning district that is located in the center of Kansas City, Mo., Jackson County Area. With the services that our organization will offer we will enable homeless women to make a fresh start, and and gain and maintain an independent lifestyle. Lisa’s House sees a world that is free of homelessness.
